Dark Temptations follows the ongoing story of Dean, a young IT professional who reluctantly agrees to a deal with a demon. He gets to repeat the same week as many times as he wants until he's happy with it, and all the demon Sathuriel claims to want is to observe him and enjoy watching his life as he plays out various decisions.

Like most visual novels, the decisions you make control the flow of the story. But we've taken it quite a bit further; you're expected to repeat Dean's week numerous times, seeking out specific answers and objectives but also exploring a broadening set of locations and characters based on where you go, who you interact with, and how. Planning your week around the characters you want to interact with and mastering the flow of time is essential to success.

As Dean explores his city and the lives of the people around him, he learns to unlock changes that cascade back in time, altering his relationships to people and in some cases, their attitudes and even their bodies. The women he gets closer to become more intertwined and as they change, an increasing number of scenes will explore their connections to each other both socially and sexually. 

Dean's freedom to repeat events, learn things about people, and perfect his approach to situations blurs the line between helpfulness and manipulation. Make no mistake, this game includes a lot of adult situations but it's no escapist fantasy. There are serious questions within about how far is too far and what lines one is willing to cross. And what happens if Sathuriel decides to renege on the deal and leave Dean stuck with awful, destructive consequences?

This game is in active development. Complete content is included for the first story for Charlotte and Junko, and 3 other side characters. There are 7-15 hours of content and five different characters to explore spicy content with.

The ongoing plan for Dark Temptations is to build more content and release periodically. With a solid base of support on Patreon, there will be monthly releases to supporters and less frequent public releases somewhere behind that. The final game is intended to include:

  • 7 different main romances with stories that help each woman grow as a person and develop physically to keep up with her personality. 
    • Charlotte - a shy, mildly goth coworker in the IT department with hidden interests in voyeurism, exhibition and partner sharing
    • Cristina - a religiously sheltered civil servant with a lot of repressed sexual desires that can become a truly wild side
    • Junko - a college friend that immigrated from Japan with her family and still struggles to assimilate and explore hypnosis and cosplay/roleplay interests 
    • Megan - a barista struggling to make rent and survive life in the city who is capable of a lot of growth in several ways, and may have a special source of milk for your morning coffee
    • Sandra - a hard-driving office manager who wants to exert control... but might get to a point where she's willing, even grateful, to give up control
    • Zee - a fitness nut who avoids human contact most of the time, but has a deeply held love of pain and submission if she can reconnect
    • One more we'll reveal once the others are well underway
  • Numerous side-dates and hookups with women around the city, sometimes connected to the main romances in unexpected ways.
  • A robust city environment with many unlockable locations to visit over the span of the game, as Dean expands his horizons to more people and things to do.
  • Engaging minigames to keep gameplay varied and entertaining, with options to skip them if they aren't your cup of tea.
  • Community-driven additions and scene ideas from Patreon supporters, and polls for which characters and content to add next.

Is the muscle growth in the patreon version?

Junko's arc includes muscle growth over the course of her stories. But this game is much too early in development to have that final appearance ready in-game. We're sharing fully transformed pictures of the ladies on the Patreon but it's a trickle, not a flood, so that the focus remains on developing the game itself. If you follow the project, you'll see what we're adding every month. And if you choose to support financially, it's deeply appreciated.

does this game actually have muscle growth girls? or not ? 

There is one character with a muscle growth arc in her development. It would appear that the game ended up on a list that made it seem like it was 'about' muscle growth and/or femdom. It isn't, and it was never our intention to represent it as such. The increased traffic has been gratifying but we're not trying to mislead people.

Having played through the demo I did enjoy it overall. That said there were some technical issues I ran into.  For starters for whatever reason if you still had any coffee shop items your inventory they seem to continuously duplicate until it fills your inventory. Also the phone felt clunky to use for texts since a lot of times Id try to click on an answer but instead of answering it lowers the phone like I was trying to get out of the phone menu. So that got a bit annoying. Also during the happy hour if you chose to stay with your friends instead of talking to the lady it would break and then you could keep replaying the happy hour while also getting to choose any variation of it right there. Id imagine that's not indented but I'm not sure. Also if you get charlotte to level one and spend the night with her after the concert if you chat with her the next day at work she uses the dialogue of having done the overtime work even though she didn't. Also in that regard if you went on the date with her at level one and then go to happy hour she still points out the lady checking you out. Is that intended or is something else supposed to happen. It felt like that wasn't intended to me. Another issue is that during the afternoon where Char comes over to give you a gift. That scene breaks if Junko is calling you since the moment you miss the call it exists out of the scene with char and your back to just normal in your room like nothing happened.  Outside of bugs I found that the travel system was perhaps a bit too tedious at times. While I understand wanting something more immersive and alive instead of just teleporting from point A to B it still felt a bit much. Perhaps adding some form of fast travel back to your apartment would be nice at least. Also Objective c for Char didn't sit right with me. While I did enjoy the scene with her in the bedroom it feels hollow when your the cause of her being in that position to begin with. Sure your not the one who fires her but you go out of your way to be a shit friend and backstab her so that she ends up in the situation where now you come to help her. Just feels wrong to me and that it clashes with the other objectives for her growth and that it's supposedly suppose to help her improve and be the person she can be. Ya that one didn't quite work for me. Despite this probably coming off a bit negative overall I did still like it and look forward to future updates.  

So like I may be stupid but how are you supposed to get into the concert? It says you need your phone since it has the tickets but I can't take my phone so what exactly am I suppose to do?

If you're on the first week, he declines (because the phone adds more features to the game) so that you go forth and explore a simpler world without phone events. This limitation will make more and more sense the more contents get added to the game.

But once you're on week 2+, just go to the computer desk and click on the phone.

I'm sorry but that's kinda dumb. Ignoring the fact of leaving your phone at home at all times seems unrealistic. But why would you be able to invite someone out to a concert you can't even go to because you refuse to take your phone with you to get in? So what your just supposed to leave mid date and be an asshole because you can't go to the event you invite her too? That doesn't seem like a good design decision if I'm being honest. You should at least be able to enter during the date if nothing else. 

You're the first person in thousands of downloads to make this complaint. We'll touch up that interaction.

That's a bit surprising to be honest. Since It's not exactly a side route or secret path that you run into this problem for. Perhaps people looked at the walkthrough or didn't care enough to comment on it or maybe its only me. Regardless it's usually not a good sign to feel like one needs to check a walkthrough just to do normal story progress. While I do understand not wanting the phone features to be available week one for the sake of easing people into the routine it shouldn't effect a normal story beat as a result. So perhaps make it so you have the tickets regardless of your phone. So like physical or printout or then if you don't want the concert week one make it unavailable then. Either that or have some way to progress the date without just needing to just bail like an ass. Since correct me if I'm wrong theirs no other option but to leave her high and dry at the club if you go week one correct?

At what point can I see charlotte's transformation since I can't find anything

Why I always fail objective 1a Saturday morning said not home afternoon

!!!SPOILERS!!!

Pretty clear you're asking about Charlotte's objective here; if have completed all of her work events and she's at 5/5, you should get a message from her on Saturday morning asking you if you'll be home. You have to respond to this message positively in order for her to bother coming over. Once you do, just advance to Afternoon and she should show up.

If you've done all this and it still doesn't trigger the scene, follow up. It's possible there's a bug but I would have to crack open the July release or whichever version you're on to confirm that.

hmmm this game seems very interesting in terms of story and kinks from what I read of it but I’m curious on why giantess is only mild and doesn’t have extreme plus how tall is mild for giantess anyways?

Megan the tallest character at her base height (5'10") and will end her transformation at about 6'6", plus more in heels.

Part of the reason for keeping this change less dramatic is the work to make animations and photorealistic renders still look right with her scale. If the game used a cartoon or anime style as many others do, the sizes could be more dramatic without looking 'off.' 

But to be very clear, the writing, rendering and animating process is very time-consuming and the game is only about 8 months old. We're releasing new contents monthly. I've got strong Ephemeral Fantasia vibes from this project. You unlock different strengths and ways to interact with situations you can benefit from. Makes for a great payoff for getting used to the week. I liked the conversation options with the two gentlemen in the flex stations, as it gives depth to the whole office world apart from trying to navigate this asshole boss and dipshit co-worker. The dynamic reactions from Marie always being busy were hilarious too.

I'm looking forward to all the features that will come with time, like keeping the jacket Charlotte gifts you on Saturday. Keep it up!

Hi DEV,  greetings, I have important questions:

Will there be content and a harem ending?

And is the content forced or can it be avoided? By this I mean some fetishes or labels that sometimes appear in the game that aren't to everyone's liking, such as lesbian, NTR, femdom, etc.

Great questions:

There will be a harem ending with all romances leveled up to maximum; this creates a big polycule of sexy and very willing women. I am interested in exploring a dynamic epilogue that responds to the events of your week, allowing you to see the eventual outcomes of various decisions. However, this is a potentially large effort to implement, so it will take a big back seat to main stories and expanding the library of sex scenes.

Once the more niche sexual content is developed, it will be at least labeled, although following suit on some other games, I may make game options to turn on and off some types of content entirely, or make it skippable.

That was some of the worst navigation I’ve seen in a game in a long time.

This is an early demo, and one of the explicit aims is to collect feedback and improve the things that people find lacking. We can't do that if the only comment is a gut reaction and not actionable.

yeah i have a few ideas, first i would say cut back on the number of location per map also streamline the movement between them to a list or a line of icons instead of the weirdly placed arrows

I personally would prefer a 'map' at each location to go directly to the room you wish to go to unless there is a reason you NEED the player to click 7 times to get to the break room room their office
